At least six suspected terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) at Lahore’s Saeed Chowk in Wednesday’s wee hours.
As per details, CTD raided in the area on an intelligence information were suspects opened fire on the arrival of the raiding party.
In retaliation six out of 10 were killed on the spot while four others managed to flee away in the darkness.
The law enforcement agency recovered motorcycle, detonators, weapons and explosive material from their possession.
The spokesperson said, the deceased were belonged to banned terrorists organisation and they want to target high level personalities.
CTD also started search operation across the city in search of the remaining four suspects.
