Dera Ghazi Khan: At least eight students were killed and 15 others injured when roof of a madrassa collapsed on Multan Road in Dera Ghazi Khan on Tuesday.
About 30 students had trapped when roof collapsed. Rescue teams evacuated nine injured students and shifted them to hospitals.
It is feared that death toll may increase as rescue work continues to recover the missing students. The Chief cleric of madrassah also injured in the incident.
The roof of madrassah building was in poor condition and recent rains further damaged it resulting in collapse of the roof.
