ISLAMABAD: Trade between Pakistan and China is likely to enhance by 24 percent after completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
According to sources, it will open up immense trade opportunities for Pakistan with other regional countries as well, reported Radio Pakistan.
Sources said the project will create greater economic integration in the region and help create five hundred to eight hundred thousand new jobs in the country.
Under the CPEC, special industrial parks will be set up in all the federating units.
The forty-six billion dollars corridor project envisages construction of infrastructure projects such as motorways, expressways and rail lines to bolster connectivity.
Several power projects will also be established to help Pakistan meet its growing energy requirements.
