Court seeks report from IGP on Musharraf’s visit abroad

ISLAMABAD: An Additional Session Court (ASC) on Saturday sought a report about permission to Pervaiz Musharraf to go abroad despite of issuance of his non-bail able warrants in Ghazi Abdul Rashid case.

Additional Session Judge Pervaiz Qadir Memon heard the case of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case and also summoned the SHO Abpara Police station in person on next date of hearing.

During the course of proceeding, the court expressed displeasure over permission to Pervaiz Musharraf to go abroad for medical treatment as the court already had issued his non-bailable arrest warrants.

After hearing the arguments the court sougth reply from Ministry of Interior and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad in this regard and also directed SHO Abpara Police Station to appear in the court on next day of hearing April 14, to answer.
