England have set a challenging total of 143 against Afghanistan despite losing early wickets in a crunch game on Tuesday at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

England won the toss and elected to bat, which turned out to be the horrible decision for the English side as they lose half of their side with just 50 runs on the score board.

Jason Roy, Skipper Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes were back to the pavilion without entering into double figures.

All-rounder Moeen Ali batted with great responsibility along with Chris Jordan and David Willey to guide the total to 142 on loss of seven wickets.

Ali remained unbeaten on 41 runs along with Willey who made the contribution of 20 runs.

Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan took two wickets each for the side.
