Ziarat residency attack: one more accused arrested in Quetta

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Operation Aitezaz Ahmed Goraya said that one more accused person has been arrested in connection with attack on Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat.

SSP Operation said that the arrest was made during raid in Hazar Ganji area of Quetta city, the provincial capital of Balochistan province here on Friday.

While unveiling details regarding recent development in Ziarat attack case in Quetta, Goraya said that nine out of 10 aides of Pukar have already been detained by the security officials excluding the recent arrest over suspicion of attack on the Quaid-e-Azam residency.

It should be mentioned that the arrested suspects include dissident Baloch leader Harbiyar Marri and others including Haleem Marri, Dar Muhammad Marri, Jamal Shah, Geo Marri, Abdul Pukar, Aslam Achu, Saifullah alias Saifu, Bairak, Rehman Gull, Abdul Sattar Murree, Ganbu Murree, Jabal Murree, Taio Murree, Umar Mannu and Baju Murree.

The police officer added that a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) would be formed to commence interrogation with the accused Pukar Marri.
