RAWALPINDI: United States(US) commander in Afghanistan General john Nicholson called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that Afghan peace process, Pak-Afghan borders cooperation and other issues of mutual interest came under discussion in the meeting. The US commander appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional stability and security. He lauded Pakistan’s successes in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
