ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Parliamentary committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would meet on March 21 (Monday),here at Parliament house.
According to the committee notification the meeting would take up the agenda of the progress report of the Inter-Departmental committee by Ministries of Water and Power, Port and Shipping and Petroleum and Natural Resources regarding resolution of the issue of registration of the indenture of lease with the government of Sindh.
The meeting would also focus on the progress report by the committee comprising Senators Lt.Gen(Retd)Salahuddin Tirmizi and Shibi Faraz on the issue of Suki-Kinari Hydel Power Project in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Minister for Energy would brief on the perspective of the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regarding proposed Energy Projects under the umbrella of CPEC.
Chairman National Highway Authority would brief on the issue of Dera Ismail Khan Motorway regarding Western route. The meeting would be chaired by Mushahid Hussain Syed.
