RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said that military operation against militants go through last phase in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
While chairing the corps commanders meeting in General Head Quarter (GHQ), Rawalpindi, he said that there was a need to look ahead for long term stability. He stressed to expedite intelligence based operation across the country to eliminate entire terrorism infrastructure in the country.
The COAS directed to enhance border management, dominance of cleared areas to maintain writ of the state. The corps commander meeting expressed satisfaction over the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
