Seven militants gunned down in Afghanistan

KABUL: At least seven militants have been killed in a gun battle when they attacked on government installations in Helmand province.   

Military operations chief, Abdul Jabar Qahraman, told the media that a group of 10 militants launched a group attacks on a number of government buildings in Gereshk early in the morning.

He said three of the attackers entered into the education office building and several others sneaked into a four-storey private building, from where they are firing at the police headquarters and National Directorate of Security office.
