PESHAWAR: At least seven people were killed in a deadly gunfight between two groups over a property dispute in Peshawar, authorities said.
The clash took place on Dila Zak Road in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to police, two rival groups were locked in a dispute over a residential plot, which was being claimed by the both sides.
The dispute led to an exchange fire, leaving seven people dead. Three members of a family including a father and two sons were among the deceased.
The dead bodies were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medico-legal formalities. According to medics, one person was critically injured in the fighting.
