KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the Nation is in deep love with the Holy Prophet (SAW) and ready to follow the footprints of Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed and Mumtaz Qadri Shaheed.
He expressed these views on Monday while addressing JI Karachi Shura meeting, held at JI Karachi headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq. The meeting also reviewed the arrangements and measures so far taken for the Tahafuz-e-Namoos Resalat (SAW) March, to be taken out on Sunday March 13th.
The JI leader further stated that the people are well aware of the conspiracies to promote secular agenda and repeal the blasphemy laws. He warned the ruling elite not to dance on the tunes of foreign masters otherwise the unrest would compel the nation to take drastic measures against them.
He was of the view that the issue of Namoos-e-Resalat is above all the other issues for the Muslim Umma. He directed the party office bearers and activists to contact and invite people from all walks of life to the march.
On the occasion, he was informed that the arrangements for the march are on full swing. Corner meeting were held after Friday prayers. Besides this door to door contacts are being made.
In this regard, prominent religious scholars, including Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Naeem and Allama Hakeem Mazhar, seminaries heads and figures from education, law, health and other sectors assured the JI delegations for their active participation in the march as well as campaign against the attempts to repeal the blasphemy laws.
Furthermore, a publicity campaign would also be launched soon at grass root level. The campaign include presentation of documentary at public places. A large number of women would also take part in the march.
