Pakistani legendary cricketer Wasim Akram said Shahid Afridi is the best choice to lead the team in World T20 in India.
Talking to media in Karachi today (Saturday) Akram said everyone knows what type of player Shahid Afridi is for last 20 year and now how do you expect him to change?
“We have to look beyond these defeats now and work hard,” Wasim said.
He also criticised media for team bashing: “Even big teams face defeats, but no such reaction appear on their media.”
Wasim said, “There were below the belt attacks on team by people such people should be ashamed of themselves.”
“Misbah has had his time, he’s retired now, Shahid Afridi is the best choice to lead the side at the World T20,” he added.
