Afridi likely miss T20 game against Sri Lanka

MIRPUR: Pakistan cricket team management has advised skipper Shahid Afridi to take rest in today’s game against Sri Lanka.

The sources close to the team said Shahid Afridi will make his decision soon. In case skipper decides to take rest then Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the team against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan has hinted that PCB is pondering over termination of Twenty20 skipper Shahid Khan Afridi.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan and Sri Lanka are both eliminated from the Asia Cup and they will play their last league match today.

While India and Bangladesh will take on each other in the final of first Asia Cup T20 tournament.
