Pakistan not to sign extradition agreement with UK

ISLAMABAD: Government has decided not to do extradition agreement with United Kingdom regarding exchange of prisoners . It has been made clear to the UK that any agreement between the two governments over exchange of prisoners and giving access to accused would be carried out on equal basis.

Sources said that the Pakistani government has decided to give UK government access to  Moazam Ali who was arrested in Karachi for his alleged role in Imran Farooq murder case. But besides that the government also has decided not to do any extradition agreement with the UK.

Sources added that Pakistan has stressed the UK government to do extradition agreement and access to accused of the two countries on equal basis.

The UK government has demanded Pakistan to extradite three accused in Imran Farooq murder case which include Moazam Ali, Kashif and Mohsin.

While Pakistan has put up his demands with the UK government to hand over Baloch separatist leaders and other terrorists involved in serious crimes.
