OKARA: Three persond were killed including a woman while 15 injured in a road accident on GT Road, Okara on Friday. Reportedly, three vehicles, a passenger van, bus and a trailer slammed in one another due to dense fog near military farm headquarters, reported a private news channel.

The accident claimed three lives including a woman. As many as 15 were left wounded on the GT Road who were shifted to DHQ Hospital by Rescue 1122 workers.
However, four injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital owing to their critical conditions.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the driver of the tanker lost control while overtaking a vehicle near a u-turn.
Rescue teams reached at the site to shift the injured to the hospital and recover bodies from the vehicles. Firefighters were also called in to extinguish the blaze.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif expressed sorrow over the accident and ordered an inquiry in the matter.
