ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday took notice of US newspaper report regarding Pakistani business group and ordered thorough probe into the matter.
According to the details the Interior Minister has taken notice of news published in New York times regarding Pakistani Exact group.
The Minister has ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to probe the matter and determine whether the facts described in the news item are true or false.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Monday the US leading news paper has published story over Axact grouped claiming that it was involved in sale of fake degrees.
The report also echoed in the Senate today where Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, a senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) raised the issue and stressed the federal government to clear its position.
The debate prompted Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani to refer the issue to a relevant committee of the Senator.
It is also worth mentioning that Axact group’s much awaited news channel BOL very near to launch in Pakistan.
