Islamabad United win as Lahore Qalandars end PSL journey

DUBAI: Islamabad United grabbed five-wicket victory against Lahore Qalandars ended up journey in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) during 20th and last league match of the tournament played at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Brad Haddin was top scorer with 54 runs despite failure of opening end followed by skipper Misbah-ul-Haq’s not out 38. Khalid Latif supported Haddin for a stand by responsible 25 runs.

Zia-ul-Haq grabbed two wickets while Ehsan Adil took one wicket.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars had set 151 runs target on four wicket against Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Islamabad United won the toss and decided to field. Lahore Qalandars’ Sohaib Maqsood scored 57 andUmar Akmal made 72 runs. Islamabad United’s Mohammad Irfan took three wickets in the match.
