ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday appreciated the Pakistan origin American Scientist Nergis Mavalvala who played key role in discovery of gravitational waves and added that she is a source of inspiration for Pakistani scientists and students.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Pakistani American astrophysicist Nergis Mavalvala for her research in the detection of gravitational waves.
In his message, the Prime Minister said Nergis Mavalvala is indeed a source of inspiration for Pakistani scientists and students aspiring to become future scientists.
The Prime Minister also directed the Ministry of Science and Technology to devise a framework within a span of one week to facilitate Pakistani scientists in their scientific pursuits.
