Sindh Rangers denied the raid reports on Senator Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi’s Jamia Ehteshamia in Karachi.
As per details, The Senate Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges on Monday formed a sub-committee to look into an alleged raid carried out by the Sindh Rangers.
A privilege motion moved by Senator Maulana Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi was referred to the committee on January 14.
Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman will convene the sub-committee. Senators Nighat Mirza and Saeed Ghani are members of the committee. The meeting was held with Senator Jehanzeb Jamaldini in the chair at the Parliament House.
