ISLAMABAD: Pakistan international Airlines on Thursday launched large scale disciplinary action against the protestors and served notices to Sohail Baloch among 165 employees.
While 11 daily wedges employees were dismissed from services and hundreds were transferred. Despite calling off strike, the PIA management continued disciplinary action against PIA employees for violating Essential Service Act.
The PIA management issued show-cause notices to Joint Action Committee office-bearers including its chairman Sohail Baloch and others. The PIA also issued notice to a female worker of flight service Alya for participating in the JAC protest.
