KARACHI: A low-intensity explosion occurred near a Rangers’ check post in densely populated Liaquatabad area of Karachi on Sunday night. However, no casualty was reported so far in the attack.
DIG West Feroz Shah told media that it was an apparent cracker blast carried out targeting check post located near Gujjar Nala by unidentified assailants who fled from the location.
Police sources said that no deaths or injury was reported in the attack.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies cordoned off whole area and commenced a search operation in suburban parts.
