ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage will meet in the Parliament House on Wednesday.
The committee meeting, to be chaired by Pir Muhammad Aslam Bodla, will discuss a private member bill “The projection of Journalists Bill,2014” moved by Sahibzada Tariqullah,MNA.
The committee will also discuss issue of non-payment of salaries to Bol TV channel staff for last four months.
The committee will also take up the issue of non-payment of pension to the retired employees of the Lok Virsa Islamabad.
The committee would also discuss budgetary proposals of the Ministry of IB&NH for the coming fiscal year’s Public Sector Development Programme.
