New Zealand thrash Pakistan, win ODI series

AUCKLAND: New Zealand on Sunday beaten Pakistan by three wickets and won the three-match one-day international series by 2:0.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan set New Zealand 291 runs target in the third ODI. New Zealand achieved the target on seven wickets.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam made 83 and Mohammad Hafeez 76 in a 134-run third-wicket partnership. While Sarfraz Ahmed scored 41 runs in the match.

New Zealand’s bowler AF Milne took three wickets. While Boult and Henry took two wickets each.

Guptill scored 42 runs, Williamson 84 and Anderson made 35 runs in the match. Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir and Azhar Ali took two wickets each in the match.
