ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Sub-Committee on electoral reforms will meet on January 26 (Tuesday), here at Parliament house.
The meeting will be chaired by Zahid Hamid and other members of the committee.
According to the committee notification the meeting would confirm the minutes of 47 meeting of the sub-committee, Minister of state for information technology and telecommunication will brief on the update position of hardware security module for bio-metric verification, Dr. Arif Alvi will brief on the progress of work entrusted to sub-committee.
Secretary Election commission of Pakistan (ECP), will brief on the usage of electronic voting machines in the general elections, draft of the new chapter on “Conduct of elections to local governments and the progress analysis on the superior court judgments on declaring an election void and ordering re-polling and supreme court judgment regarding political parties and draft of unified election rules.
