Fresh PAF strikes kill eight in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Fresh series of air strikes conducted by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets killed at least eight persons in tribal agency North Waziristan here on Sunday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

At least eight persons were killed in air strikes in Shawal and Datta Khel areas as fighter jets pounded several militant hideouts in the tribal agency. Several hideouts were also destroyed in the air raids.

It should be mentioned that the areas targeted in the aerial raids were situated near Pakistan-Afghanistan border areas.
