Pakistan’s first Wi-Fi Greenline Train begins journey

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railway has introduced the first Wi-Fi Greenline Train here on Friday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the train.

Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq has said that each passenger of the train would have one million rupees insurance.The passengers can enjoy air-condition, Wi-Fi, three-time quality meal, mineral water and newspapers throughout the journey.

The train would run between Karachi and Islamabad and complete its journey in 23.15 hours. Special passengers Lounges were constructed for the new train at Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi Railway Stations. Ticket of rupees 5,500 from Islamabad to Karachi and rupees 5,000 from Lahore to Karachi will be charged. The new Greenline Train will take only five stops at Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri and Hyderabad.
