Law enforcement agency, Rangers, conducted large-scale raids in different parts of the metropolis and arrested 78 suspected criminals in Karachi here on Friday.
Rangers’ spokesperson said that 78 suspected criminals including terrorists, target killers and extortionists along with weapons were detained during raids in Karachi.
The raids were conducted in Khamiso Goth, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, North Nazimabad and Orangi Town.
Targeted operation in the metropolis, Karachi Operation, is going on in full pace against criminals without any discrimination in the city which went more intensified following orders of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to commence final and decisive phase to counter menace of terrorism in the economic hub of Pakistan post barbaric Safora Goth incident.
