MULTAN: The police under its ongoing drive against the anti-social elements have arrested 27 outlaws and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from their possession here on Sunday.
According to official sources, police conducted separate raids and arrested 10 drug peddlers and one illegal weapon holder and recovered 110 litre liquor, 580 gramme Hashish, one pistol and bullets from them. Police have also apprehended 11 proclaimed offenders.
In another raid police arrested two gamblers with stake money Rs 34,850. Two other outlaws were also arrested, sources added.
