Foreign Office says Pakistan and India are in touch with each other to finalise date for Foreign Secretary-level talks.

In a weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said joint efforts are required for elimination of terrorism from the region.

Top a question, the spokesperson said the government is in contact with the Chinese government for the implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project and several meetings have already taken place on that count.

To another question, he said the Afghan government has been asked to investigate terror attack in Jalalabad and share results of it with Pakistan.

Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan and Iran enjoy good brotherly and neighborly relations.  He said it is expected Saudi Arabia and Iran will solve their issues through peaceful means.

He said Pakistan strongly condemns the terrorist attack in the Indonesian city of Jakarta on Thursday as it always has always condemned terrorism in all forms and manifestations.
