KARACHI: Administrator, District Malir, Tariq Hussain Mughal has directed the officials concerned to take precautionary measures to cope with the situation in case of expected rain.
A statement on Tuesday, said that the Met Office has forecast that rain is expected during few next days in the metropolis. The Administrator directed to check the de-watering pumps as well to functionalize the rain-emergency centres.
He also observed that the officials of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board should ensure immediate resolution of complaints related to the chocked lines, overflow and drinking water provision.
