KARACHI: Karachi, once the city of lights, seems to have been turned in the ‘city of over-flowing sewerage waters’. M. A Jinnah Road, a main artery of the mega city, was inundated on Tuesday with filthy water gushing out of choked gutters, creating traffic chaos and causing hazards to health of citizens.
There is probably no one to take care of the problem as the city’s municipal administration is still in a mess. Elected local government representatives have yet to take oath. However, the people were irked by the sewerage water due to which traffic jam was witnessed on the main artery for hours.
The roads of the area were drowned with water but the administration had not taken any action so far.
