KABUL: At least 20 suspected Islamic State (IS) militants were killed on Saturday in a US drone attack Acheen area of Nangarhar province in Afghanistan.
The drone strike targeted hideouts of the suspected militants and killed 20 while several injured, security officials said.
Earlier a month ago, US drone strikes in Nazyan district of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province killed at least three suspected militants, belonging to the self-styled Islamic State militant group.
