PESHAWAR: A police encounter on Thursday (today) killed two suspected militants in Hayatabad area of Peshawar, a police personnel was also embraced martyrdom in the clash, police said.
According to the police, two suspected militants were also arrested following the clash. Security forces reportedly seized a number of weapons from the unidentified assailants.
The police said that an assistant police officer also embraced martyrdom in the encounter.
Soon after the incident, police cordoned off the area and carried out search operation.
