KHAIRPUR: At least three labourers died of suffocation and one fell sick from a gas emitted from a chemical here on Saturday.
Rescue sources said that poisonous gas emitted from anti-bacterial chemical in a godown of dates in Khajoor Mandi of Khairpur proved fatal and led to the death of three labourers while another was severely affected. The bodies and affected labourer were shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
