New York: Picasso’s painting “Women of Algiers” has become the most expensive painting to sell at auction. The painting was sold in 160 million dollars at Christie’s in New York.
The Picasso painting was sold within 11 minutes in the auction. The auction house was estimating 140 million dollars for the painting. It is now the most expensive sculpture sold at auction.
