Recently retired from One Day Internationals (ODI) cricket middle-order batsman Younis Khan has a memorable 2015 as he became the leading runs scorer in Test cricket for Pakistan after breaking the record of legendary batsman Javed Miandad.
In 2015, Former skipper had a great run with the bat in longest format of the game as he scored 789 runs at an average of 60.69 in 14 innings including three centuries and a half century. He played 8 matches in the year.
On the other hand, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez also had a terrific run with the bat. He was the second highest runs scorer for Pakistan with 710 runs followed by Asad Shafiq 706, Misbah and Azhar Ali scored 616 and 576 respectively.
Professor [Hafeez] was the leading run scorer in ODIs. He scored 782 runs at an average of 41.15 in 20 matches which the help of scored two tons and five fifties.
Skipper of ODI side Azhar Ali was the second highest scorer as he made 775 at an average of 45.58 in 17 matches with the help of two centuries and three fifties.
All-rounder Shoaib Malik made a superb comeback in the side as he scored 607 runs in shorter format of the game.
As far as bowling department is concerned, Yasir Shah had a memorable year with the bowl reaching his highest Test ranking ever which was third.
