Guptill powers New Zealand to 10-wicket victory in 2nd ODI

Martin Guptill hammered New Zealand to 2nd One Day International (ODI) victory against Sri Lanka on Monday.

Matt Henry and Mitchell McClenaghan started the destruction of Sri Lankan batting lineup as they removed top five batsmen with just 56 runs on the score board.

Skipper Angelo Mathews only managed to score 17 runs for the side. Nuwan Kulasekara was the leading scorer for the visitors with 19. Sri Lanka were all out on 117 in 27.4 overs.

Henry picked up three wickets while McClenaghan bagged four.

New Zealand in reply easily chased down the target in 8.2 over without losing a wicket. Guptill hammered unbeaten 93 runs of just 30 deliveries while Tom Latham remained not out on 14 runs.

New Zealand led the 5-match series 2-0. Martin Guptill was named player of the match.
