Masses not to accept any undemocratic move: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that masses will not accept any undemocratic move.

While addressing to the 33rd foundation day ceremony of Mansoora Hospital, JI Ameer said that Sindh government had weakened its position by limiting the Rangers powers. He said that Centre and the province should not fight on Rangers powers.

Sirajul Haq said that if governor rule will be imposed in Sindh, then it will not be restricted for only one province.

He said that all political parties gave the government a mandate to eliminate terrorism but the federal government failed to fulfill the mandate.

The JI leader said that economic terrorism was the root cause of militancy. He urged the government to make itself accountable.

Sirajul Haq said that the federal government had failed to provide the basic facilities of education and health to its citizens, so the rulers had lost the right to rule.

He said that Supreme Court had admitted that 98 percent people died of diseases and added that 38 children died last week in Lahore, due to lack of medicines.

The JI leader said that the Punjab government spent Rs200 billion on Orange Line project but reluctant to provide basic facilities of health to masses.

Sirajul Haq said that JI will launch a mega campaign against corruption form January-2016 and added that eradication of corruption is compulsory for eradication of poverty, inflation, illiteracy and unemployment.

He urged the masses to change their electoral behavior and elect the sincere and honest leadership. He asked the people to accountable the rulers by their power of vote.

Sirajul Haq said that politics and crimes should be differentiated. He asked the federal and provincial governments not to make the Karachi operation controversial by holding politics on the issue of Ranges exclusive powers.
