LODHRAN: Polling time concluded for by-polls in NA-154 Lodhran.
Polling started at 8:00am and continued till 5:00pm in the evening without any interval or disruption. The process of vote counting is being carried out in the constituency.
Siddique Baloch of PML-N and Jahangir Tareen of PTI are the major competitor among the twenty contesting candidates. Total 303 polling stations have been set up for polling; out of which 34 polling stations are dedicated for male and 44 for female with 235 general polling stations for both male and female voters.
Strict security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident. 47 polling stations have been declared most sensitive while 256 polling stations are slotted in the sensitive category. District Police personnel and Pakistan Army will be deployed at various polling stations to keep the election process peaceful.
