KARACHI: Pakistan army has won All Pakistan Amir Khan Boxing tournament final held at Peoples Stadium, Lyari.
Chief guest Corps Commander Karachi Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar congratulated the winners. Pakistan army has succeeded to clinch three Gold medals in different categories, while Navy won two Gold medals. Air force, Balochistan Rangers, Sindh Rangers, Sindh gareen and WAPDA won a Gold medal each.
While addressing on the occasion Naveed Mukhtar hoped that Amir Khan would guide the boxers across the country. He said that Lyari had a status of nursery for the boxers. Naveed was of the view that games play a vital role in the formation of nations’ character.
