ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reviewed progress on LNG based power projects energy during a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday.
He was briefed about LNG projects including LNG power plants and construction of LNG terminal.
Addressing on this occasion, Prime Minister directed that all projects should be completed within stipulated time and all prevalent legal formalities should be ensured.
He directed all ministries to facilitate and support ministry of petroleum in completing these projects in time with transparency .
Earlier, a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday, reviewed the national health insurance scheme to be launched in December (this month).
In his remarks on the occasion, the Prime Minister called for implementing the national health insurance scheme for poor segments of the society in a transparent manner. Nawaz Sharif said poverty and disease is a deadly combination and we have to target the both simultaneously.
He directed that latest technology should be used for effective feedback and monitoring of policy. On the occasion, the Prime Minister was briefed that state life insurance is being involved in executing the insurance program. Nawaz Sharif directed that before execution, a comprehensive awareness program should be launched.
