Junior Hockey team skipper killed in Rawalpindi clash

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Junior hockey team captain was killed while two others sustain injured on Saturday when two rival groups clashed in Rawalpindi.

Police said the deadly clash took place at Union Council (UC) 86 between supporters of two independent candidates during polling for the third phase Local Government (LG) elections.

The victim identified as Raja Shoaib, Pakistan Junior hockey team captain, was nephew of former state minister Raja Basharat.
