Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan has declared that third phase of Local Government elections in Punjab and Sindh conducted peacefully.
Addressing to a press conference ECP chief said the LG polls were organised in a better manner as compared to 2013 general elections.
He said over 80 million people case their votes in third phase of LG polls while 0.69 million polling staff was trained for the electoral process.
ECP Chief appreciated Rangers for conducting the peaceful elections in Karachi and said the law enforcement agency have given magistrate power which keep law and order situation stable.
Raza also appreciated Sindh government for safe and peaceful election in the province.
