LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the nation which was in grip of multifaceted crises needed to bring a change in the existing system through power of vote.
Addressing a ceremony at Mansoor Degree College here on Monday, Sirajul Haq said that life of a common man has become worthless than commodities of daily use, adding a revolution is must to break the status quo which was the root cause of evils in the country.
He said that those involved in anti-state activities and looting the national exchequer should be hanged publicly to make them example for others.
Sirajul Haq urged for accountability of those who have plundered the nation by those who are free from corruption, adding those who are themselves tainted with corruption cannot hold accountable others with corruption charges.
The JI chief said that in Pakistan politics has become multi-millionaire rupees game and poor but honest and scrupulous person despite having leadership qualities, can’t take part in the election process.
He pledged to implement uniform education system in the country after coming into power and said that during the JI rule children of country’s president and school’s watchman would get education in the same school.
