Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Elections Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is giving a free hand to only one party while it is tying PTI’s hands for which three First Information Reports (FIR) have been lodged against him.
Talking to media after casting his vote at Mohrah Noor polling station, PTI chairman said ECP is stopping party chairman to run his election campaign.
He said he is not even a minister, doesn’t have any Kisan package to give and not income support programme for the people.
It is the right of the chairman under democracy to run his party campaign, conduct rallies and public meeting, Khan said.
Imran said three FIRs have been lodged against him over addressing a public meeting.
ECP should tell why 35 percent form 15 were hidden in general elections 2013, he added.
He asked ECP how many cases were registered against those who performed irregularities in the elections over which tribunal declared the elections nulled and void in three constituencies and ordered re-polling.
PTI chief further said how many of those were arrested who cased 25 votes each?
ECP is only lodging FIR against him, he said.
