KARACHI: Unidentified assailants have lodged attacked, injuring several JI activists participating in peaceful rally of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in connection with upcoming local government (LG) election in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
An offensive group of assailants attacked peaceful election rally which wounded at least eight workers, JI spokesperson said.
The attack was carried out in Baldia Town area of the metropolis, he added. The attackers pelted stones on the participants while the stoning caused damages to the vehicles.
