MOSCOW: At least fifteen people on board a Mi-8 helicopter were dead when their chopper crashed in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia on Thursday.
There were 26 people on board, including four crew members.
“There were 22 passengers and three crew members onboard the helicopter. According to preliminary data, eight people were killed and the others were injured,” the source said.
Those injured in the crash are being evacuated to hospitals by snowcars, the emergencies ministry informs.
