ECP postpones elections in Hyderabad UC-53

HYDERABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has postponed election in Hussainabad union council-53, Hyderabad as election symbol of a candidate allegedly changed in the last hours.

According to details, Solangi community hold protest over change of election symbol and suspend the polling process in the constituency.

They were of the view that their candidate was allocated the sign of “rolling-pin” in the election but on the polling day the sign was replaced with “hen”.

ECP took notice over the report and postponed the election in the constituency.
