ISLAMABD: Federal government is moving to constitute a separate audit division for tax payers. The government wanted to apart audit function of tax payers from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Tax Reforms Commission has suggested to apart audit function of tax payers from FBR completely. The committee advised to form a separate audit division. The department would be responsible to prepare audit plan and to audit the taxes.
Sources said that the commission has suggested to hire accounting and audit professionals instead of CSP officers to enhance the system of FBR. The committee stressed on reorganization of FBR to improve its process.
